Train at Multisports Dog Training Camp or Private Dog Training Lessons
The question about what kind trianing is best for your dog is one many people struggle with, simply because as people, most don't understand how a dog thinks and learns. Therefore choosing the environment in which to teach dog is one that is difficult to answer given the persons experience with dogs, the temperament and type of dog you own.
 Emme, the yellow labrador retriever, is pictured here with her Multsiports Dog Triaining Camp partners out on a trail trek. She's the perfect candidate for a dog boot camp enviroment. This little lab is young and full of energy. She's incredibly cute and because of that holds the ace in her paw to be very stubborn and get away with it!
Her owners are active, and busy. They love having a dog.... actually this is the second dog addition to their home, they have a 1.5 year old black lab as well, who also came to camp for dog training. Knowing from the beginning that they wanted a dog they could take anywhere, who would mind their own small children and understand the house rules... they opted for Dog Training Camp.
Having the time and patience to follow through every time, especially with a younger dog who can be quite A.D.D. was something the Russell family knew was going to be difficult. " That's why we chose to send both our older dog and now thier new younger dog off to camp. The consistency of having a program instilled for as little as 10 days to 2 weeks works amazing wonders in having our dog understand exactly what sit, come, down, stay, and heel mean, espeically while the distraction of a young family, neighbors, friends, and other dogs living on our street are a factor." stated Jennifer, Emme's new dog mom.
Dogs do in fact learn in pictures and the Multisports Dog Training Camp is the perfect place for the correct pictures to be reinforced so the dog knows exactly what action goes with what word... every single time. Getting dogs out for exercise and knowing that they will have the freedom to walk or run on a loosh leash, as well as be off leash and know when you say "come here", the dog knows it.... even if there's a big yummy piece of poop to eat, or another dog to go running off and check out.
The K9 Coach Multisports Dog Training Camp started with dogs like Paula Newby Fraser & Paul Huddle's dog Gidget, and Heather Fuhr & Roch Frey's dog Morgan . These are world class athletes who brought dogs into thier lives. They wanted them to be able to do any activity, go anywhere with them, and Jt Clough had the knack for teaching a dog just those types of things. Private lessons have been the forefront of her dog training life but after taking dogs in and training them for actiivties..... the word got out and now people are looking for dogs like theirs.
Private lessons are great for those who want to put the initial repetitive learning time in, and who have the time to commit to slowing down enough in their daily lives to teach their dog the correct thing to do every single time!! Those that send their dog to camp get a lot of training the dog learns the right way and then they get to enjoy keeping the actions the dog already knows in place. It does make the whole experience very fun, and yet it's interactive as well. Don't be confused, we aren't advocating that you send your dog away to camp and then you do nothing.... you are your dog's leader after all.... camp gives you a big head start and a place to be able to get help in understanding how to keep your dog on the right track for a lifetime of that contented relationship you were looking for.

Emme the Yellow Lab goes to Dog Training Camp
What I can tell you about my day today is that I loved it. I love training dogs and Emme is a yellow lab that's absolutely adorable. She's got all the puppy stuff going on.... gets excited, jumps, forgets what she is supposed to be doing, barks at herself in the mirror, and gets very excited when she sees new people or new dogs. She's a very cool dog in my opinion. She does fit into the "working dog" category I love so much.
Emme has come to Dog Training Camp at K9 Coach and if she could talk, she'd tell you how fun her day today was as well. First thing we went out on the trail with my two dogs. She's doing so awesome... she's a young pup and can go off leash already. She knows to follow me and even when she romps up ahead to play wit h the other dogs, she checks in with me... makes sure she hasn't gone too far.
Throughout the day today she did things like go to get my new paddle board. The guy I was getting it from was absolultey amazed that I had her in my truck with the door open while I walked over to get the board to load it on my truck, and she stayed there and waited for me. Now that's some good training!
We did some work on "spot", later in the day... meaning, get on whatever I designate (like a bed, or a stair landing) and she'll stay there until I tell her she can "take a break" or call or her to me... whatever the next thing is.
Right now she's having a little play time, a tug of war using a tug rope with my Weimeraner. Soon it will be time for bed, and she's already learned to go load up in her "Casa" or as some have described it "kennel". I like using casa because it is abou what you think. It's her own little house and she likes it.
Dogs rock. I love training them.

What a fabulous 3 day dog training course. Presenters incuded Linn Bolke , Mary Mazzeri, & Jt Clough covered understanding the pychology of dog, better communication, and how to work smarter not harder at a successful dog training business.
